Wednesday 29th June
Tech Help 10am- 12pm
Please feel free to email, or call us, to make a booking and come along and sort out those questions or problems.
Anything Tech-related is fine with us. There is a $10 charge for each session for non-members.
You are also welcome to just turn up but we can't always guarantee when we can get to help you.
'To click or not to click' 1:30 PM
This week we will have a chat about links - 'To click or not to click'. Links are what makes the World Wide Web a web rather than just a bunch of computers. A lot of us have been told not to click anything, which negates a lot of the benefits of being online. We want to have a chat about that and see what we can find out.
Non-members are welcome - bring a friend.

There is no door charge (but we do have a Koha Jar for that loose change).
SeniorNet News
We are still looking for volunteers who would like help with greeting and assisting our members on Wednesday morning as they arrive for Tech Help sessions. This would be from just before 10 AM until about 11:15 AM. The tasks are not onerous, they include:
Interests
We want to run 3 different activities. We hope they will be fun, productive, and useful to you.
Please let us know, by email, if you are interested in attending any of these activities. seniornet.pnth@gmail.com
So, please let us know if you are interested and we will work out the finer details and get them underway.
- Welcoming people as they arrive.
- Signing people in (we have a very simple system to do this).
- Taking the cash for the session, and writing a receipt if required.
- Making sure that people know what’s going on.
- Talking with any non-members who want to know more about what we do.

- Capturing your memoirs or family stories.
This will be a monthly activity, 10-11:30 on a Wednesday morning, yet to be decided. This will be a small group to encourage the collection and recording of some interesting snippets of your, or your families life. We will have somebody around to help with any guidance. - Fun with Photos.
This will be another monthly activity, 10-11:30 on a Wednesday morning, yet to be decided. This will be a group making use of digital photos to create something (calendar, photobook, poster, collage, T-shirt) using your photos. We will also look at simple photo editing and ways to present photos. We will have somebody around to help and guide you. - Beginner's Word Processing Workshop.
We would like to run a simple Word Processing workshop. Perhaps you are creating minutes or newsletters, or just want to record some information in a printable format. This will again run on a Wednesday morning. We will decide the frequency and number of workshops once we know who might be interested.
So, please let us know if you are interested and we will work out the finer details and get them underway.
