Android Interest Group
This group meets on the third Wednesday of each month during term time.
This is an ideal way of learning more about Android devices

Introduction to Tablets or Phones - Using the Android System (4 x 2hrs)
Basic Operations include: 
 * Home Screen
 * Status Bar
 * Navigation buttons
 * Quick Access Bar
 * Status Indicators & Buttons of the Home Screen
 * The Apps Screens

Android Tablets - email and Internet (4 x 2hrs)
 * Set up and use the basic systems of the Galaxy Tablet Computer
​ * Understand something of the differences between Android based tablet computers.
 * Send and receive email messages using the Mail app
 * Internet app to surf the internet
 * Find and record useful information from the Internet
 * Set the Internet app to desired settings
​ * Use the Maps app to locate places and receive directions between places
