Interest Groups
We have three Project Related Interest Groups;
There will be no charge to members, but a small Koha would be appreciated. The plan is to have at least one tutor/mentor assigned to each group to get things underway, provide guidance, and answer any questions. We are keeping the structure simple and we will continually review (with the group) what we are doing to make sure we are staying on track. We believe that this should be a lot of fun, interesting, and a practical learning experience. We are looking forward to it.
- ‘Tips and Tricks’ - will cover useful and interesting features that will help you get more out of the applications and websites that are available on computers and phones.
- ‘’Your Digital Toolbox” will cover useful and interesting simple applications and websites that are available on computers and phones.
- Memoirs to start recording your family stories. We will look at various options for how best to do that.

This introductory Learning Sessions should be taken by all those who are starting to use an iPad. It covers the basics of setting up and using an iPad, using the keyboard with the Notes app, setting your preferences in how your iPad operates, iTunes and syncing files, the Apple App Store, interesting apps, setting up your Contacts. |
